Our Classes
Children and adults are invited and encouraged to become part of our karate family. Our classes inspire and develop self discipline, confidence and leadership skills while learning to defend yourself and having a great time! Our certified instructors will teach age appropriate Isshin-Ryu Karate as well as grappling, judo and self-defense techniques. Each class focuses on the traditional Okinawan karate values and skill sets.
As a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organziation, a tax deductible monthly donation of $40.00 is strongly encouraged. Remember, it is up to you fellow community members and sponsors to keep our program running. Phoenix Martial Arts Society will also help provide all the necessary gear and equipment for students at extremely reasonable rates. As always, our staff and board of directors do not draw any compensation - EVER. All donations are used to directly fund and support our program.
We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at St Paul's Lutheran Church of Smithfield Township located 1/4 mile behind the Country Kettle on Route 209. We offer separate classes for children and adults as noted in the times below. Classes meet at the celebration hall behind the church.
